Savannah earned her BM in Violin Performance and MM in Violin Performance at Baylor University in Texas. She recently moved back to the Madison area where she grew up. She has had her own private violin and viola studio since 2017 with experience teaching beginners through college aged students. Savannah fell in love with helping young musicians learn to play the violin and viola with the goal of reaching their fullest musical potential. She specializes in combining the Suzuki method with her own teaching style that focuses on finding the student’s unique learning style, for example: kinesthetic, verbal or visual.

While earning her master’s degree, she was her professor’s violin studio assistant. During her time in Texas, she frequently performed with the Waco Symphony Orchestra, Baylor Symphony Orchestra, and Baylor chamber ensembles as well as performed solos in many studio recitals. She also substituted with the Temple Symphony on several occasions. Savannah has experience as concertmaster of the Baylor Symphony Orchestra and substitute concertmaster of the Lake Geneva Symphony Orchestra. She plans to become involved in orchestras in the Madison area once auditions begin opening up again and she currently teaches violin and viola lessons at Westside Christian School in Middleton. In addition, she continues to teach online lessons for those who wish to take lessons virtually.
