Biographical Info
Shauncey Ali is a performer, educator, composer and author. He is the director of MadFiddle, a youth fiddle program that performs with a live backing band. In addition to appearing as a guest instructor at music camps, workshops and schools, he has been teaching privately since 2004. Shauncey has performed, recorded and taught across the U.S. and in Canada, Italy, Spain and Scotland.
Shauncey has appeared with Peter Gabriel and the New Blood Orchestra (2011), placed first at the RockyGrass instrument contest (2014), received MAMA’s “Teacher of the Year” (2016) and been featured in Fiddler Magazine (2017).
