Biographical Info

Originally from a suburb of Chicago, I have lived in Madison for about 7 years, sit Assistant Principal Second in Madison Symphony, also play in Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, and perform in a number of chamber groups as well. Recently, I have taken an interest and passion in teaching. It’s a joy to see students faces light up once they have learned a new technique or a new song. My goal as a teacher is not only to help students play the violin better but also to build confidence and joy in learning and trying new things, applying it to all areas of life. My own private teachers were Jane Kohnke, Thomas Wermuth, Robert Lipsett, Danielle Belen, and Almita Vamos.
