Discussion Forum #4.: When Saying “Good” Isn’t Good: We always want to be positive and encouraging to our students, but if we say “good” all the time, the word can lose its meaning. What do we really mean when we say “good” even when whatever they just played really wasn’t? Are there alternative things to say that give our students as much support–maybe even MORE support–so that “GOOD” can be saved for those special moments when it really is?
